Pair of fantastic 18th Century door panels in the chinoiserie style dated around 1760.
Originally from a large cabinet now framed in 19th Century faux bamboo frames. Each panel depicting European versions of oriental men. These would have been the decoration on the rear of the doors hence the marvellous condition.
To the rear one can still see the decorative fronts; now adapted for wall hanging.
The 19th century faux bamboo frames add to the overall composition.
