Pair of 20th Century Gainsborough Library Chairs
SKU
CH8023050
Outstanding pair of English-made 20th Century mahogany Library chairs in the 'French' Chippendale style.
The legs are carved with acanthus leaves and 'C' scrolls and hairy paw feet. Believed to have been made in the first half of the 20th Century by unknown makers.
The fabric upholstery is clean and usable but would benefit from re-upholstery in a more appropriate fabric.
A stunning pair of chairs that will help create a truly sumptuous setting at a fraction of the price of a period pair.
