A couple of minor nicks to the rear that do not detract. Circa 1960.

Maison Barbier was a small factory located in the heart of Paris, on Rue du Pré aux Clercs, near Boulevard Saint-Germain. Founded and run by Philippe Barbier, a renowned 20th Century designer recognised for his craftsmanship and innovative designs. Although he designed several pieces of furniture and tables, he became famous for his original lamps. With their innovative, unusual and timeless shapes, these lamps became popular all over the world and are still much loved by collectors.
