Pair of early 19th Century Italian walnut chests of drawers.
These large chests have wonderfully imposing proportions. On each, the top overhangs a substantial frieze frieze drawer with beautiful burr figuring.
Below and set back slightly are two further drawers in figured walnut. These drawers are flanked by ebonised pillars, giving them a wonderful architectural profile.
The drawers themselves retain fine quality lion's head handles and ebony escutcheons.
Each chest of drawers terminates on thick straight legs and ebonised block feet.
These stunning chests of drawers have a timeless beauty. They will bring gravitas and pleasing symmetry to any interior.

Returned stock must be delivered to our warehouse within 14 days, in the same condition it left us. The cost to return will be equal to the original delivery cost and will be deducted from your refund. We do not refund the original delivery cost.
