Pair of Early 20th Century French Marble Top Cast Iron Tables

Pair of late 19th or early 20th Century French, marble top 'Chalmette Issoire' cast iron Art Nouveau tables. 

Married with marble which is contoured on three of the edges, but one short edge is left flush so the tables can be set together creating a table of 324cm length. 

The grey and white vein marble rests on contemporary wood panels which are screwed into the iron base. The bases have been painted several times over the years, originally green, later distressed black with some silver showing through.
