Pair of French 'Plein Air' Paintings

  • H: 46 cm (18 1/8")
  • W: 55 cm (21 5/8")
Fabulous pair of French 1930's/40s 'plein air' paintings. Full of character and movement, each capturing the bustle of market day perfectly. Signed R. Limousis. Both paintings are in good clean condition, the distant market square has some small repairs and the market stall painting has some paint losses to the bottom edge (please see images) both have pin holes but neither are any less charming for this and are both stable.
