Pair of George III Armchairs
Fine pair of George III mahogany armchairs, circa 1790.
The influence of neoclassicism is clear in the reeded rectlinear frame of the chairs and the rosette motifs to the square section of the legs.
These stunning and classic chairs feature turned legs and uprights.
Georgian furniture adapts wonderfully to modern homes, and this pair of chairs would blend seamlessly into both a period interior or a contemporary one.
Upholstered in a bright striped linen which compliments the rich patina of the mahogany. Deep seated for maximum comfort.
