Pair of French 19th Century Zinc Urns

Pair of large French 19th Century zinc urns, circa 1830.

One can only imagine what grand setting these urns might have resided in originally...

The wide rims rest over shapely bodies, and each rests on a substantial and attractive geometric base. 

They have weathered to a beautiful soft blue/grey colour with a great patina. 

This pair would be equally beautiful as interior decoration or garden ornaments.
