Fabulous pair of late 19th Century painted Swedish chests of drawers, in the Gustavian style.

These chests have an elegant rectilinear form and each one offers three graduated drawers. The old white paint has been retouched.

Both have pretty carved rosettes to the sides and elegant canted corners and rest on short square tapering legs. With brass ring handles and escutcheons to each drawer. These pairs have pleasing proportions and attractive designs.

They are suitable for a range of settings, from the living room to the bedroom, and will bring pleasing symmetry and cohesion to any interior.
