Set Of Art Nouveau Roemer Hock Wine Glasses

A fine set of eleven German or possibly Dutch late 19th century Roemer hock wine glasses in an attractive olive green glass. 

These are blown with a hollow ribbed and swirl stem with applied prunts. In perfect condition with no chips or cracks, each 16cm high. This type of wine glass, commonly retailed by Liberty London and Morris & Co Ltd at the end of 19th Century/early 20th Century was created to satisfy the trend for Dutch revival glass from the 16th/17th Century.

Now antiques themselves, these beautiful ‘hock’ white wine glasses have a distinctive and stylish look which works so well in 21st Century.
