A wonderful set of twelve 19th century fruit chromolithographs from La Belgique Horticole Journal des Jardins 1864 edited by Charles Morren.

Morren was a Belgian botanist, professor of botany and director of the Jardin Botanique de l'Universite de Liege. He employed four artists to work on the plates - Marie Jean Guillaume Cambresier, R Sartorius, Francois Stroobant and Francois De Tollenaere.

Presented in bespoke handmade Italian wooden frames behind Tru Vu glass which affords the prints some protection.
