Fabulous, newly framed set of 17 engraved plans of architecture, irrigation, daming, etc by Giovanni Donegani, the renown, Italian engineer [Born 1775 Brescia- Died 1845 Milano]. He built numerous roads, including that of the Stelvio Pass. In 1838, King Ferdinand of Lombardy awarded Donegani the Order of the Third Class Iron Crown The following year, the Emperor honoured him with the titles of Knight of the Austrian Empire and of Noble of Stilfserberg [Monte Stelvio]. Engraved by Pietro Becceni [Printmaker 1775-1829], Brescia. Circa 1800.
