Set of ten 20th century Biot Champagne flutes.

Famed originally for its potteries the Provençal town of Biot is now also synonymous with this distinctive form of glassware established in the 1950’s by Eloi Monod, who prized what was often seen as a flaw in traditional glassmaking - the bubble trapped in the glass. 

This has since become a signature of Biot Glass these flutes are in the classic soft provencal blue.
