Set of Ten Italian Copper Aventurine Salviati Spiral Wine Glasses

A magnificent set of ten 19th Century Italian Murano copper Aventurine wine glasses with clear twisted glass stems.

Each exquisite glass has been skilfully hand blown and wrought. One glass has a historic repair to the stem. Traditionally in the Victorian era any fine piece of glassware that was considered too special to throw away, was sent away to be expertly repaired. As such, this glass has been strengthened by a metal bandage.

Each holds max 140ml. It is unusual to have such a large number of glasses in a set of such age and beauty.
