Recently constructed hexagonal frame in natural wood with an ochre edge holding a collection of French antique ephemera.
Signed and dated on the back, Peter Gabrielse 2015.
Peter is known for his exquisitely crafted box art - magical framed room sets of antique and hand made elements, informed by his earlier career as a set designer in the Netherlands. He is now nearing retirement and this piece came from his chateau in Normandy. (The chateau is featured in "Perfect French Country" by Ros Byam Shaw 2017).
