Signed by the artist Jean-Jacques Morvan [b.1928-d.2005]; also titled, signed and inscribed to the rear "Les Deux Amies" [Translation "The Two Friends"] J.J.M A80.

Jean-Jacques Morvan was born in Morlaix, Brittany, on January 7, 1928, and died on September 4, 2005. He was a French painter, sculptor, engraver and writer. He was also an actor, journalist, critic and songwriter. Morvan was the official painter of the French Navy and a member of the jury of the Edouard and Tristan Corbière prizes in Morlaix.
