Lovely colour and texture with thickly applied paint. In its original frame of the period. 

Signed by the artist to the lower right, Robert Malinceoni. 

To the rear, the artist has attached his gallery card a note with the following inscription 'Retour Du Marche' [Return From The Market.] Translated from the French: Returning from the market, the basket is placed on the table. 

Full of a variety of fruit freshly purchased. Their colour and varied tones are a pleasure to see.
