Early 19th Century Poissonnier (fishmonger) table, used in the famous Dijon markets.
The oak herringbone block top is fitted with two iron drainage grills for when the top was repeatedly washed and scrubbed back, now giving a beautifully worn bleached finish.
Circa 1820.
