Fantastic collection of 19th Century Herbarium studies.
These herbariums depict botanical specimens by Clarence Bicknell (1842-1918), whose entry in the handbook states that he collected on the Riviera and Corfu. Bicknell also contributed specimens from France, Italy, and Greece.
Many were collected at Bordighera or in Toscana Apuan Alps, Bagni di Lucca, Viareggio, Sarzana in the Maritime Alps.
This is a superb collection that is beautifully framed and would suit both classic and contemporary interiors alike!
