Wonderful pair of Swedish armchairs, dating to the early 20th Century. 

These graceful chairs are well-proportioned, with subtly outscrolled top rails and enclosed sides. 

The downswept armrests as well as the uprights demonstrate detailed carvings in the classic Swedish style. 

This pair have been later ebonised, with glimmers of the original wood showing through to give these chairs a lovely aesthetic.
