Amusing oil painting of two hunters falling upon a woman bathing in a river. French, Mid Century. 

Inscribed and stamped to the rear by the artist's studio.

Gaston Le Beuze was a caricaturist and painter who made decorative designs for Robj of Paris, in the 1930s which were reproduced on Villeroy & Boch porcelain.

Le Beuze produced funny caricatures throughout WWII which were anti-Nazi and poignant representations of life in Paris and it's surroundings during the occupation.

He started working in 1930 and stopped in 1960.
