Early 19th Century Tin Plate 'No Spitting' Sign

Early 19th Century tin sign.
This sign would have likely had come from a pub or a similar establishment.
This unique WW1 era sign has been painted with black and white paint onto the tin.
It has reinforced edges and four historic screw holes.
Featuring its maker mark, this sign was originally by " J. A. Whitehead, Didsbury."
There are visible signs of wear and remains of later paint which add to its characterful charm.
