Stunning Italian early 19th Century capasoni jar.

This large jar originates from Puglia in southern Italy. It features a beautiful partial burnt orange glaze to the top half and pronounced lateral handles. 

These jars were mostly used for storing wine as an alternative to using barrels.

Immense rustic decorative appeal.
