Large and exceptional French 19th Century pâtisserie table.
This wonderful table features a very decorative wrought-iron base comprised of pronounced scroll forms and brass roundels. The initials LP are woven into the ironwork.
This table retains its original rectangular white marble top and rests on eight original castors. The marble measures 142 by 66cm.
Pâtisserie tables were designed to go in the shop window and display edible goods. Therefore, a beautiful appearance was important and this example does not disappoint.
Today, these tables make for wonderful console or serving tables.
