Superb 19th Century large French cast iron pâtisserie presentation table.

This incredibly fine table is a wonderful example of its type. The ornate and extremely elegant iron base is compromised of pronounced C-scroll forms.

Adorned with decorative roundels, caps and fittings.

This table is topped with its original thick marble top, which rests on an incredibly intricate and decorative frieze.

Pâtisserie tables were visible in the shop window and used to present the goods on offer, so their beautiful appearance was a priority.

This would make a gorgeous statement console or side table in today's interior.
