Georgian Irish Mahogany Tripod Table
Fine quality Irish Georgian mahogany occasional table.
This charming tripod table is in its entirely original condition.
The circular top features an unusual arrangement of dished circles, with pretty carved details and gadrooning in between.
This design suggests it may have been used as a counting table or for plates to sit in to take afternoon tea.
The top is supported on a central column with balustered and turned details as well as rope twist carving.
Terminating on three cabriole legs with decorative foliate carvings.
This is a wonderful country house occasional table, with great authentic charm and a rich aged patina.
