Large 19th Century Glazed Terracotta Cruche

Large 19th Century French Provençal terracotta cruche.

With a lovely deep yellow glaze, this cruche features a Bulbous shape with twin high lateral twisted handles - one incorporating the spout. There are some signs of wear to the exterior, in the form of a chipped spout, but this does not detract from its charm.

Traditionally used for collecting and serving water, this piece of Provençal pottery will bring a dose of rustic charm to today's interior.
