Pair of 20th Century Scottish Curling Stones

Quality pair of 19th Century Scottish granite curling stones.

This pair is in excellent original condition, complete with their bronze and lignum vitae handles.

These curling stones were designed to slide across the ice, as part of the competitive sport curling. They are made from beautifully polished dark grey granite which is very heavy.

They make for an attractive display in any corner of the home and certainly provide a talking point. They would make particularly useful door stops.

One handle feels slightly loose, but it has no effect on lifting the stone.
