Pair of French 19th Century Pricket Candlesticks

Stunning pair of French 19th Century giltwood pricket candlesticks.

These candlesticks are of great scale and feature opulent decoration to one side. Both are gilded and painted to the one side and the other is plain.

The main shaft is beautifully turned and balustered. The whole terminates on a pedestal base with a centrally carved motif and claw feet. 

A wonderfully authentic interior pair.
