18th Century Rococo Armchair

Beautiful Rococo armchair, circa 1780.

It has been scraped back to reveal the original paint which is original to the Gustavian period. This chair also has elements of the original underlying Rococo colour. 

This charming armchair features a simple, curved back which is classically turned. The whole is supported on decorative cabriole legs that are joined by a central stretcher and leather seat.

A wonderful chair that will bring rustic, Swedish charm into any room.
