Still Life with Bread

French, early 20th Century oil on canvas still life painting signed J. Lafont. Painted in the early 20th Century, and very much in the style of the French post impressionists, especially influenced by Van Gogh's linear brush marks of colour. In good condition with age mellowed paint and stable, but cracked paint surfaces.
