Venetian Sofa

19th Century Venetian sofa. 

Dating from the Early 19th Century, this sofa is constructed in walnut with a beautiful wavy top line to the top of the back with pronounced armrests.

Terminating in bold scrolls and supported on cabriole uprights. The sweeping cabriole legs are surmounted by ears at the top of the legs flare outwards at the junction with the seat rail.

This is a very Venetian piece with pronounced scrolls and curves that are very bold in design to produce the most attractive sofa.
