Beautiful 19th Century gilt convex mirror in the Regency style.
This mirror has an immense decorative presence and revives all the grandeur of the Regency period.
The circular convex plate is set within a giltwood frame punctuated with repeating roundels.
At the top, the elaborate crest features an eagle that holds a trail of bellflowers in its beak that extends down the sides of the mirror.
Both the top and bottom feature decorative scrolling acanthus decoration.
Convex mirrors not only offer a wonderful decorative accent, but their deceptive plates also maximise light in interiors.
