Aethetic Movement Slipper Chair
Petite 19th Century ebonised slipper chair in the style of E.W Godwin.
This classic chair rest on ebonised legs which are turned at the front and square tapering at the back. Terminating in original castors.
The whole is supported on a beautifully turned frame which includes typical 'Aesthetic movement' styles/motifs. It has been reupholstered with a neutral white covering.
Slipper chairs got their name from ladies needing somewhere to sit and put on their shoes. Today, they are a timeless option for a bedroom or boudoir chairs.
