Regency Giltwood Eagle Mirror

Very elaborate Regency style convex mirror. 

The mirror plate is surrounded by a giltwood frame with a large open-winged eagle cresting. 

Featuring bold leaf-carved scroll decoration to the sides and terminating on a foliate carved base. 

Eagle-topped convex mirrors were a prolific feature of many Regency interiors, favoured by top designer of the time Thomas Fentham. 

This mirror has a wonderful classic appeal and will look fantastic in any home.
