Fine quality George III period figured mahogany 'Ladies’ Dressing Table' attributed to 'GILLOWS'.
The Serpentine-shaped top opens to reveal a fully fitted interior with a central fold-away mirror flanked by lidded compartments.
Standing on a square-legged rectangular base with a concave-sided lower shelf.
This is an interesting table, the sketched design for which is illustrated in Lyndsay Boynton's book on Gillows, from The Gillow's archives.
