Gustavian Sideboard

Swedish 19th Century sideboard, circa 1800. 

This beautiful sideboard has four doors that open to a spacious interior. 

Each panelled door has reeded carvings to the outside and sides. 

The outer rim of the doors has been intricately carved to represent vine leaves. In some lights, the carvings represent a plaster look rather than carved wood. 

It has been scraped back to its original Swedish blue paint which is highlighted by the pinewood structure. 

This sideboard has a timeless style, making it well suited for all interiors.
