Superb 19th Century pine lambing chair.

Originally from either the Yorkshire or Lancashire dales. 

Although called a lambing chair, many of these chairs were used as country fireside chairs.

This gorgeous chair shows few signs of wear that are commensurate with age and use. It is in full working order and dates to around 1860.
