Grand French 19th Century oak library bookcase.
This large-scale bookcase features a projecting cornice above a panelled frieze, with a dentil-moulded band flanked by reeded tablets.
Below are twin glazed doors which enclose an arrangement of shelves.
The doors are flanked by angled forecorners and columns headed by ionic capitals.
The base features twin panelled doors which enclose a cupboard space. This bottom section is flanked by projecting angled pilasters.
All supported on a stepped plinth base.
This fine quality bookcase has a wonderful neoclassical form. It will look equally brilliant in a period or contemporary space.
