Pair of Gustavian Chairs

Decorative pair of early 19th Century Gustavian side chairs. 

Originating from the Lindome region of Sweden, these chairs date to the early 1800s and have a fantastic design throughout. 

These chairs have rectilinear backs with charming 'Criss-cross' pierced splats. Further gustavian carved details adorn the frame. 

With pretty remnants of old paint. 

These chairs are supported on elegant column legs with H-stretcher supports.
