Pair of Italian grand provincial side chairs, in their original paint. Circa 1740.
These chairs are of imposing scale with fantastic shape. They feature double baluster splat backs with arched tablet crestings and upholstered seats with scroll aprons.
This pair is supported on cabriole legs to the front, and the rear square legs are joined by stretchers.
These chairs are very unique and distinctive, making for a wonderful addition to any interior.
