Regency Satinwood and Rosewood Sofa Table

A Stylish Regency satinwood and rosewood sofa table, in the manner of Thomas Hope, with well figured satin birch rectangular top. Having wide crossbanding to the top. A pair of frieze drawers with small brass lion mask handles and incorporating mahogany drawer linings.
Raised on tapering end supports with fan moulded spandrels on block plinths. Having a rosewood turned baluster stretcher. Raised on original bronzed simulated carved wood paw feet with ionic capitals and terminating in brass castors.
The table is the same on the reverse with dummy drawers so it can be used freestanding.
