St Ives Arts & Crafts Oak Refectory Table
SKU
TA2715098
Wonderful Arts & Crafts oak refectory table, circa 1950.
This table was made in the Robin Nance workshop in St Ives. Nance trained with the legendary Cotswold School maker Arthur Romney-Green in the 1920s, before returning to St Ives to set up his own workshop in 1933.
Nance was part of The St Ives artist’s colony of that pre and postwar era along with luminaries such as Barbara Hepworth, Bernard Leach, Ben Nicholson and Patrick Heron.
Of great scale and sturdy design, this table has a timeless appeal and will make for a fantastic dining table in any setting.
