Swedish sofa made of nordic pine in the early 19th Century.
Scraped back to original paint colour, there are lovely hues of green-blue as well as the wood patina showing through. Seat recently upholstered in a Belgian linen with a lovely slub to it. Pull out base typical of this Gustavian country design.
Pretty carvings on the base and legs as well as detail on the top.
