Early 20th Century teak folding garden bench.

This charming bench has a carved inscription on the back: David G. Ffisk 1931-1937. 

This bench was originally used at the sports pavilion of Eversley School in Southwold, Suffolk. It was donated by David's parents when their boy left the school at 13.

With its folding mechanism and simple design, this bench will find great use in today's garden. It offers wonderful personal history and a legacy to continue.
