The armchair version of our Kingston sofa, based on the Howard & Sons 'Ivor' model. It is all charm and simplicity with neat, classic Howard arms and generous cushions. A versatile and generous armchair that suits all manner of interiors. We build our Kingston Armchair up from a hardwood beech frame, using only traditional methods and materials. With a hand-tied coil-sprung seat, there is no foam used in the build up. What makes this armchair so comfortable is the high down content in both the seat (50% down, 50% feather) and back cushions (70% down, 30% feather). The down gives the cushions lovely softness, while the feathers provide loft and spring. The castors are individually hand-cast by traditional English metal crafters to a very high standard and a variety of finishes can be achieved. We use the antique brass finish as standard. The legs can be either tapered or turned and come in a variety of woods and finishes. We use medium oak legs as our standard finish. Also shown here in dark oak. The Kingston, like all of our models, can be made completely bespoke. We want this to be your perfect armchair, so if you want it a bit bigger or smaller, softer or firmer, or anything else just ask and we will do our best to accommodate. The prices excludes fabric. If you need some help finding the perfect fabric, let us know. It takes approximately 9 metres in a plain fabric to cover a standard Kingston Armchair. For patterns, and bespoke sizes, get in touch and we can advise on fabric quantity.
