Twelve Swedish Dining Chairs

Wonderful set of 12 painted Swedish dining chairs.

Six of this set are original and date to circa 1820, whilst the other six are later copies. 

These chairs have an elegant neoclassical form, with rectilinear backs and cross-form splats. Their frames are extensively carved with egg-and-dart and dentil details. 

Resting on sturdy column legs supported with an H-stretcher. 

With their white paint and charming red and white check seats, this set will look incredible in a range of dining spaces.
