English 19th Century Lion's Head Armchair
Unusual mid 19th Century English upholstered armchair.
This stylish armchair features an oak frame, with deeply carved lion's heads as armrest terminals and a gently outscrolled top rail.
The swept back legs continue upwards to form the sides of the backrest. The turned front legs have an inverted vase form and retain their original brass cups and castors.
Newly upholstered in a striking modern leaf-print cotton fabric.
This chair combines classic elements with unique features and it will be a fantastic addition to period and contemporary interiors alike.
