French 19th Century Wooden Baluster Table Lamp

  • H: 76 cm (29 15/16")
  • W: 12 cm (4 3/4")
  • D: 12 cm (4 3/4")

Early 19th Century wooden table lamps in the form of balusters.

Balustrades are small columns that typically line a staircase or balcony.  The term was created by 17th Century Italians because of its 'bulbous' form which is pronounced "Balaustra" in Italian.

These elegantly composed lamps have a beautifully formed structure with remnants of their original blue paint.

Will add a touch of opulence and glamour to wherever they are placed.
